The Adventures of Little Josh and Adartgicgul - Issue 3

Adartgicgul quickly hid himself from the knights, between the hillside and the river banks, where the road leads to the king's courts.

"What am I going to do?" Adartgicgul asked himself, pulling himself together cringing like the worm that he is.

Little Josh bellowed from deep within him, right from the bottom of his stomach, the loudest sound that he could make, "Adartgicgul, you stole my lunch, you lousy thief!"

"What was that?" shouted the leading knight, raising up his hand signaling to the others to stop.

"Hark, hark. Hi, me maties lousy thief...is Adartgicgul...lousy thief."

"Sir Casperron, up in the tree! It's a colourful talking bird. It just flew by the river bank. A bird like that would please the king."

"I agree," said Sir Casperron.

Bleo, the talking bird flew over and circled Adartgicgul's cringed up body.

"Hark, hark, lousy thief...hark, lousy thief..."

The knights surrounded Bleo.

"Hi, me maties and bye me maties. Bleo free," he cried, and flew across the river.

"Show yourself, now," commanded Sir Casperron.

"It is I," answered Adartigicgul, trembling with fear.

"What manner of filthy beast are you? asked Sir Casperron. "Do you not know the laws of Rodneons?" Written by L.N.C.

"Where did this talking bird come from?"

"What will become of Adartgicgul?"

Will Little Josh keep the money? Will he save Adartgicgul by returning the money? Adartgicgul is already in trouble for being filthy, so it seems.
